Battery farming

Over the years we have made substantial investments in the research and development of battery farming systems. The different models of cages for hens have been made in order to satisfy the requirements of farmers and according to the behaviour of the animals, optimising the spaces available in the barns and allowing a larger number of hens to be positioned. 

Our models vary in terms of the dimensions of the boxes in which the laying hens are housed and in terms of the technical construction features. The EU5, EU5 MAX and EU5 200 cage models have belt dejection cleaning systems whereas the ECPR and EP models have intermediate scrapers and a scraper in the pit below. The design of the cages complies with the European Directive.
