Free range with nesting boxes

The free-range farming with LIBERA or “LIBAIA” nesting boxes designed by CLERICI GINO srl, consists of farming laying hens who are free to move inside the barn. The density of the animals is established by the European Directive, which defines the minimum conditions to be respected in order to guarantee the wellbeing of the laying hens. The Directive states that the density of animals per m2 of usable surface area is 9 for CONVENTIONAL farms and 6 for ORGANIC farms.
