GIGO model feeding system
The most popular feeding system in the aviary hen farming sector is the GIGO chain model, which enables a uniform and constant distribution along the entire path, preventing waste. A chain of relevant dimensions runs along the feeding troughs, transporting the food inside them. A regulator, placed inside a fishing unit, guarantees a regular and uniform quantity of food. One or more silos are placed outside the barn, connected to an auger, which enables the feed to be automatically transported into the GIGO units.
